I had a good, easy, fair sales experience with Steve Litwin @ Downtown Subaru in Oakland. Not a big fan of their service dept, but Steve was good.

 

I got mine in Marin through the internet sales guy, was a breeze and he gave me a super deal without having to haggle much.

 

Wayne @ Carlsen is the best that i have dealt with all over the bay area...

 

wish I could say I had no problems getting my 06, but it took some effort and alot of negotiation...

 

big valley subaru in so cal if you want a great deal and no haggles.

LOL yeah i dont think i could shop for a car in Norcal, the automalls in socal are amazing. they have anything and everything within three blocks.

My experience at Downtown Oakland - Sales Guys were D***s! Bad attitudes, they try to screw you, then get pissed when shown how they are doin the price jacking!

Me personally - I say stay away from the shop in Oakland

 

I suspect all dealers are like that. I bunchof dicks and a few decent guys.

steve's gone. he's working at the mercedes dealer down the street now. I worked with him as sales there before. But i'd recommend Kay from there, he's taken steve's position and is a great guy, tell him henry that worked with him sent ya and he'll hook u up.

 

Never dealt with Sales, but their Service Dept is incompitent and deceiving.
