NBC definitely ****ed up, they should have just let Jay out of his contract when he asked for it, he could have gone somewhere else and Conan could have kept the Tonight Show.
I also think that Jay is taking a lot of un-warranted blaming... he was pretty much forced out when he was #1 and still wants to work, whats wrong with that?? No winners here, we all lose.

I understand that Conan is pissed but I don't really understand the Leno bashing. As far as I've read, its not like Leno demanded his time slot back. It was NBC's decision to go and move him back yet Leno is getting all the flack. Sure Leno could have said he didn't want to take the time slot away from Conan but he wants to work. If someone told you were going to lose your current job but offered you the same job just on a different shift, its not like you would say no, especially if you loved what you did.

how does that make Leno sound like a douche?
i agree. why is Leno the bad one here? Conan's show didn't produce good ratings.

Conan hasn't said anything bad about Leno at all. Us fans just don't like Leno, so we can say all the bad things for him.
My understanding is that Leno's show was sucking, and because NBC is all up in Leno, they wanted to move him back up so his show could do well. I'm not sure if it had much to do with Conan's ratings at all...

also from what i know Leno's show at 10pm was doing ok for NBC since its a lot cheaper to produce than lets say Lost or any other primetime drama but it was hurting NBC affiliates since the lead in to the 11pm news was being hurt by the lower Leno ratings. So the affiliates pressured NBC to get rid of Leno at 10pm by threating to not show the Leno show since it was hurting them a lot. Carlson Daily is lucking since if conan moved he would not have a job since 2am is the cutoff

I'm a big Conan fan. Even I can understand it's way more of NBC's fault than Leno. Let's hope Conan goes to a network that allows him to bring back the Masturbating Bear and vomiting Kermit at a decent time slot. Haha.
