Thumbs up

Certainly it is the 'National' car of the NW ~ trust me, I sell them here.

Had lunch with my daughter last summer @ an outdoor cafe' in Ashland, OR and saw 78 Subies in the hour it took us to eat lunch... Beat that anywhere else in the U.S.!

We've had what up to about 200 at Mt Hami, maybe 250?

OK so say for the sake of exageration that we had 500, still doesn't come close to the Wicked Big Meet they had in Mass in May- over 700 Subies.

We have our work cut out for us if we plan to beat that, and we'd better come down off the high horse about Mt Hami, great event for sure, but nowhere close to the biggest.

There were 1300 cars reported at Subie Fest in Kent Washington in November. I think it helps to have it at a venue with multiple activities - track racing, rally cross, show, vendors. They're holding Subie Fest II in Portland in April.

The Northwest is the winner for Subaru as National Car (if you go by how many people are into their cars and show up at meets).

We don't have the biggest... we could if we wanted to... But it's just a small area gathering together... They are like 10 states!
