Certainly it is the 'National' car of the NW ~ trust me, I sell them here.
Had lunch with my daughter last summer @ an outdoor cafe' in Ashland, OR and saw 78 Subies in the hour it took us to eat lunch... Beat that anywhere else in the U.S.!

but seriously, a month after i got my STi in july 2003, i drove to portland for a conference and didnt see the abnormal amount of subies...

The Northwest is the winner for Subaru as National Car (if you go by how many people are into their cars and show up at meets).
