Napa: My dog is missing!

Today I dropped my dog off at my friends house in Napa (near downtown) while we went away for my birthday. She called me at 8:30 to say she was missing. I immediately drove back up there but had no luck. Someone said they saw her near 1st and Coombs (my friend lives on Coombs).

Her name is Jynx, she's about 28lbs and is an all black Mexican Hairless (Xoloitzcuintli).

If anyone in Napa spots her please let me know. We are not going out of town now and will be heading back up to Napa first thing in the morning to flyer the downtown area and try some door to door canvasing.

She has a chip, the info that comes up will have a Mexican phone number or it may not be readable by a U.S. scanner. Her tag broke and we were going to replace it yesterday but got sidetracked (I know, I know). She has a tattoo on her inner thigh... here is a pic of her as a puppy to show the tattoo placement.

You should contact the local news stations and see if you can email in a picture. I've seen it done quite a few times. Also craigslist. Good luck man, I'll be hoping for your doggies safe return.

Dude I saw a dog just like yours roaming around south of downtown a couple weeks ago! I live close to downtown so I'll keep an eye out for you. Hope you find her.

Thank you!

That was probably Rufio, the Xolo she was supposed to be staying with!

She's a chupacabra, he's lying in hopes you'll bring it home and eat all your goats!

****ty day. Chasing leads all over Napa. Not sure if they were accurate or not. Totally wiped out. Hoping to get some fresh leads soon. The people that spotted her did so about 4 miles from where she escaped. If she'd gotten out here in the city she'd at least have known where she was.

Tonight is going to get pretty cold and she does not have any way of keeping warm. I'm worried about her... she also probably hasn't eaten in too long for her metabolism. These dogs are very fast (sight/pariah hounds).

This is the first dog I've lost (and I'm not the one that lost her). I'm really trying not to blow up at the person that did because I know that won't help but dammit, I'm F'ing pissed!

dont blow up at the person. i know this has to be a frustrating and stressful time for you but i can almost guarantee you they feel horrible already. best of wishes on finding the dog. i dont know if you have but check the local rescue shelters and craigslist can work sometimes too.
