My weekend trip

We went from the bay area up to Tahoe, Thru Tahoe down 395 to Death Valley, Then cut over to Vegas.

Stayed in Vegas (Luxor) for saturday night then headed north back up highway 95 (Nevada Test Range) to Carson city and 50 west back to Sacramento

Here are some pictures..

Dude, you need a taller tripod!

Nice trip though, I love 395 (except for the CHP on it) and Death Valley is always awesome, although I prefer it in the November- March timeframe

No CHP But I think we were about to get road blocked, I turned left and went another route after looking down the road into town. I let the guy tailing me find out. Something about something on my scanner... NHP I hope was nice to them.
It rained and snowed both ways ... it was like 70* in death valley.

I think that was it. We ended up on 95 south into Vegas. I'll have to map it.
