were the wild parrots very curious? i've always wanted to go further south to Amazon forest where they are supposedly very curious. the giant spiders and bugs that can eat people scare me though. Looks like you had an awesome trip.

 

I think the parrots were trained to hang out near the entrance of the maya ruins. They seemed to be pretty curious because they climbed down the fence and started coming toward us when we were staring at them.

My cousin had a huge spider in her room too. probably the size of a small hand haha. I'll see if I can get the pic.
