Angry my sti hit n run by a 944

Guy tapped my STI downto SJ at a red light (Julian & Market) going just a couple miles an hour (we had both been stopped for a bit so I dont know how he managed this) - was a right turn so i stopped around the corner and put on my hazards - he drove by and pulled into a parking garage (claimed he didnt see me). Ended up calling the cops to report - while i was on the phone he showed up. either way - who the fk knowingly hits a car and drives off because they "thought nothing of it"

stay away from this 944

Had a guy back into my bf's bike in our downtown.. Snapped the fender with his hitch, and just drove off like nothing happened while we were standing outside of a restaurant watching. People are idiots.

Hey I really hate how some people just don't care. They think they can get away with everything. I walked out of my house one morning to go to work only to find a van parked in front of my car and his back bumper was up to and touching my front bumper. I backed my car up, got out and noticed this HUGE gash and scratches from the trailor hitch under his bumper.

A closer look

Hard to see, but theres black markings on his trailor hitch

Got his license plate to, I guess cause he's handicapped he can do whatever he wants...

In this case he didnt get away with it. Just goes to show how dumb some people can be.

That sucks man. I didnt even need to go to the cops. When I knocked on the door the guy had a look of "oh ****" on his face and he gave up all his insurance info and it was taken care of.

I had a guy back his truck up towards my dodge stealth in high school. I honked. He stopped. He started to back up again (I was waiting to turn into the lot from the street, so nowhere I could go to avoid him/get out of his way. It was a one way lot, so he should have been going forward.). Anyways, I honk again but he backs up right into me, then puts it in drive and goes forward, out of the parking lot! I follow him, not having a chance to get out an see the damage.

The cops finally pulled him over a couple minutes later. Turns out it was a guy in his 80's that claims he didn't even know he hit me.

The part that makes me crack up to this day was that my buddy was in the car with me and wrote down the plate/make/model/color of the truck. I look at the paper and it says "GMC truck, ice blue" I look up at my buddy, look at his sunglasses, and remind him that the lenses on his sunglasses are blue. The truck was silver

Maybe he just didnt want to be on the street dealing with accident exchange info? Maybe he freaked out a little bit.

I've literally had to chase people down on the city streets, it could have been worse. If your insurance is good, and so is his, then all will be well.

I had a douche in a pick up in front of me at a red light once who was sitting there playing with his clutch instead of using is brakes. He ended up rolling back into my car. Just then the light turned green and he took off. I chased him down honking like a mad man and finally caught up to him in a fast food parking lot that he pulled into. Turns out he did no damage what so ever to my car and was oblivious that he even hit me, so I ended up looking a little dumb, but better safe than sorry.

Last week I learned, the hard way, that even in this case you are required (not by law but by your insurance company) to report this issue and arrange to have BOTH vehicles inspected by your insurance company. He has 3 years to damage his vehicle and file a report that you bumped into him, and they WILL take his side. I know this sounds ridiculous - it's because it is.

Of course you are required to report the incident so, in case of fault, they can raise your rate, however they have constructed it so that you are gambling with your record if you do not report it.

Leaving Capitol Subaru, where you get back onto 87 N, I was chillin at the light to turn left onto the freeway and a 2000ish black Dodge Ram with chrome trim hit me from behind at like 5~10 mph. He started running, so I chased him. Pulled out my cell phone and it was dead, what luck. Chase him for like 15 mins and trapped him in a dead end, got out and looked at my bumper, nothing. I just was like **** it and let me go. Guy was a lanky "African-American" guy with aviator glasses and a wife beater. To top it off, it was on my birthday.

Since then I watch out for heavy truck smashing behind me. Had about 5+ close calls with trucks slamming their brakes behind me and getting within inches. And the whole time I can see this happening and I even give the guy more space so he doesnt actually hit me. I ****ing don't get people road raging in Full-size pickups with latter racks.

Everytime some crazy close call happens to me, I go from relaxed to shaking with rage to choke a batch. So glad there are no guns in my ride.
