If you don't want to go through insurance (which you should), you're going to bring your car to your favorite, bestest body shop for an estimate, tell her the estimate cost, and get the money in cash or have her pay the bill up front BEFORE the work is done, and make sure she can't cancel the bill if it's a credit card. I would recommend going to the most expensive shop possible, getting the money in cash, and then bring the car to a local import tuning shop and have them put on a new aftermarket bumper for you, it'll probably cost less than the estimate you got. there ya go it all turns out gravy
