My manager did the same thing with a Chevy 350 block. Didn't have the pistons holding up the glass. I'll see if I can't find a pictar of it.

as a person who likes to kick off the shoes around the house, I'm pretty sure that's the last thing I'd want to stub my toe on...

 

oh god just thinking of how much that'd hurt makes me cringe in pain. My brother sometimes leaves weights around on the garage floor, and if I run down in the morning and turn on my car, by feet are freezing within a few seconds and then I usually kick a weight by accident because I'm in such a hurry to get back to the carpeting

That is a Land Rover V8. those things are the worst. they get slipped cylinder liners all the time so, im sure you can pick one up pretty cheep. all you need is one complete short block and a piece of glass.
