1JZGTE in 82 Toyota Corona









Fun as hell to drive.. got lots of power... Its only @ 14.5psi but feels as if its faster than my 08 WRX?

I might be willing to sell if the price is right... ONLY because i have a baby on the way... I can always keep it too... ? Just too many toys, not enough time to enjoy them all...

For a while my buddy had one of the most ridiculous Supras with a 1JZGTE single turbo. 640rwhp!! He said it would break loose in any gear.

 

alittle over 300hp... That's on stock turbos...

 

yeah with my stock twinturbo, i can break it loose in 2nd and 3rd... I haven't driven it that hard yet... But I don't need to downshift to pass at all... The funny thing is, the stock speedo on the Corona ONLY goes up to 85mph.. I have pinned that many time... Once I go pass 85mph, I have no idea how fast I'm going... LoL..

 

There's a ton of parts for those motors too. Even with the stock 1JZGTE that light car should be friggin crazy!

I had a an '81 wagon for a few years. Loved that 22R. I could beat the hell out of it.
