Nice M3. I have only driven one of these - a pristine '04 with the SMG. I thought the SMG was basically a fun way to look like you are bad at driving a manual in car parks, but - admittedly it was pretty neat under hard acceleration, as well the ability to adjust timing between shifts. Would much rather have the 6spd of course, and that color combo you got is gorgeous.
What really struck me about the car though was looking over the hood, how tidy the front end is and how crisp turn-in was. I was a lot more impressed than I had planned on being...
Wow, I just read most of that thread. It's crazy to think that people believe they can blindly put down money for something without even checking it out in the least, and then demand a refund once they realize it's not right. I have bought hundreds of dollars of parts from a "respected member" on here, exchanged money and put the stuff in my trunk with a hand-shake "because i-club member" and we have known each other for years. Every single item was damaged, bent or broken - un-usable. I just felt stupid for a little bit, then threw all that crap away and chalked it up to learning that I need to inspect stuff that I buy in the future.
One person even mentioned buying a set of rims (which have the offset stamped right on them) realized they were not the offset they wanted weeks later and demanded a refund. Is this really how it works here? Because that is crazy.
