Well it was time to say goodbye to the wagon. She treated me well and went to good hands. On a happier note, last week I picked up a CGM 2006 STI from a fellow I-Clubber. The car was bone stock and in great condition with only 19k miles on it.

Since then I slapped in my old Crucial springs and found someone for a trunk swap... now its a bit lower and has a lot less wing

I also figured this would be a great opportunity to test the latest Cobb stage 1 base map as well as tune a bone stock STI which I haven't done in quite some time. Here is the overlay of a quick custom tune over the Cobb Stage 1 ACN 91 map. I didn't get a chance to do a pull on the stock map but I might do that in the next couple days. Either way, I forgot how much fun a bone stock STI can be with just a tune. It also seems I got pretty lucky with a nice strong engine



I'm loving this car and it should hold me over until the second year release of the new STI or 135i .
