the idea was to not spend money twice (buying a set of wheels/tires that will work now but not later)...michael is getting a widebody in 3-4 weeks (from what I've been told)...
+27 offset (on a subaru) is not for everyday driving or for a car w/o a widebody, its all part of the preperation (early) for the next phase
*and acutally his old wheel/tire combo is not that much smaller than what he has with the new setup.

ehh I think it would look cool to fit those wheels on the car w/o the widebody but i'm also curious to see what the car will look like with the widebody. Great setup from what I can see so far though. Oh and a lot of people run low offset wheels on there dd cars. Shoot I run a 20et on my setup

ahh ok well that makes sense then.
but for a subaru (I only think subaru when posting on a subie forum), you would never buy a 18x9.5 +27 offset for a DD as it requires massive tires.
also a 255/40/18 is pretty much the min that can be stretched onto that size wheel (and most won't try getting anything smaller on).
If Michael wasn't doing a wide body he never would of picked that wheel/tire size
*when you come to LIC with a project in mind, it's our job to go over every fine detail, see what your goals are, what you want from the project, how its going to be used, etc...if we didn't do that, Michael would/could of picked another set of wheel/tire combo only to have to sell yet another set of wheels/tires b/c they arent for his ultimate plans of finishing the car with widebody and paint in a few weeks...is that doing him justice?

Yes.. The car is going widebody. LIC has been very detailed in their work. Once again.. World class shop... Thank you guys.
Had I done this on my own it wold have cost me allot more money. Plus they spotted the 6spd problem, I would have never even known to look for.
I'm at a point in the road I have to figure out. Paint the car or not.
If I dont then this is what will be put on in january,

But I'll have to pick up the carbon doors too. I have the roof with a spec c vent. No vent cowl though.. All held on with dzus fasteners so the seams dont crack. The fasterners let the panels move around under load.
If I paint the car then i'll sell my carbon kit to a guy back east that wants it and get a apr or this one.

with these front fenders

Car would be painted wrb but with a flat clear coat.
I got to think about this one though...
