WHAT HAPPENS WHEN 100 GINGERS MEET IN A PARK? THIS DOES.
You’re probably wondering, who in the hell is this teeny-tiny ginger and how in the world did this video come to be?
I’m Calvin Michael West, and this video happened because I love hip-hop, funny ****, and most of all, being a ginger.
Like most ginger hip-hop impresarios in training, I drive a white Subaru. It was in said Subaru that I spent a solid two-weeks listening exclusively to the YG track, My Ni**a (when I couldn’t get good reception on National Public Radio).
Over the weeks, I started to craft my own ginger-fied lyrics to the song in my head—and then with the help of a few creative pals, and a giant gaggle of ginger volunteers, we decided to make this thing real.
No, I’m not expecting to become a rap titan as a result of this video. No, I do not have a formal posse (though qualified candidates should apply). And yes, I am considering getting a grill.
So, please enjoy, and share with your ginger friends—because you KNOW they’re not outside. (It's July and sunny everywhere.)
