I wanted the jun bumper too but its too low as well and a lot more $$. so if I mess this up I wont be as mad and I already did going to work and pulling into the parking lot. the curb is too high off the ground because I went sideways onto it too.

It was my old civic. 97 coupe.

I lost a greddy lip but the one I was referring to was the good old factory lip...looked good too.

Car wasn't that low either...the lip was kinda...it was a little lower than your average side walk..about a parking block high......I only know cause I drove over one once..doh.

Any ways...I was flying down 880 with my room mate and myself in the car....the suspension didn't like weight much and between the two of us that's around 500 pounds. It hit once on the way to union city but that was my own damn fault and I think it busted a couple of the clips holding it on and was saggin in the front...like a half inch in the middle...was gonna fix it when I got home.....hit this freeway joice in south fremont on 880 at about 80 and it just snapped it off...I drove over it and it ripped my drivers side fender well down and it was bent in and rubbing...had to pull over and cut half my wheel well out right there on the side of the road to get home.

Yeah...not my wrx but this experience and the experience of busting another one just turned me off to the whole lip thing...especially on a car I plan to drive in the snow quite often....

I am considering that rubber one..think it's prodrive....or a factory one that I take off during the winter.

oh...my civic by the way....was not some ricer mobile...slammed to the ground and rubbing on everything and bouncing all over the place. It was actually smoother than my wrx on the freeway and most other places. Wasn't that low...never rubbed...shoot I hit a speed bump coming out of dave and busters at like 45 and it just soaked it up...didn't see it. Was trying to catch up to my stupid friend cause he was leading me someplace I didn't know where to go.

Anyways..just clarrifying that my lip didn't get tore off cause i was driving some coffee canned knuckle dragger.
