Im not into Moto GP AT ALL, like zero percent, but that was friggin bad ***! Imagine what the two teams were going through when they were neck and neck like that... Probably the most anxiety ever!

That was a great pass with two laps to go. Leaned in for the corner, tucked his knee in to pass and then laid it down again. "Excuse me." Awesome.

 

Every year I go to Laguna Seca for MotoGP since it came back to the U.S. This year I'll be working with team Ducati most likely, so I'll be there all 3 days. It's gonna be grrrreat!

And yes, Rossi is a god.

God those passes were nuts. I can only imagine what the two drivers were thinking lol That is some insane racing right there. Rather see teammates battle it out like that than "cruise" to a 1st and 2nd finish.

 

Anyone else notice him lay a strip through the corner at ~1:20?

Watched it a couple more times and I think that might have already been there. Hard to tell cause its not really clear if its there before he took that line.

 

I do side jobs for Capcom every once in a while and they contacted Ducati about doing something with the new MotoGP game on Ducati Island. Open play, tournaments, that sort of thing. It's a perk of having friends work at that company.

So if all goes as planned and if any of you get down to MotoGP this year, come down to Ducati Island and look for the Capcom booth and say hi!

 

Didnt he pass someone on the dirt on the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca? I saw a poster advertising "The Pass" with 46 passing in the dirt of the corkscrew and Laguna Seca's motogp dates.
