Not sure if anyone on here knows Mary Pozzi, but her Camaro just got selected to be in the next GT
I'm really happy. Mary's a great lady and that car's a freakin beast
I'm still in shock over this as the other four finalists were pretty cool cars. Add to that plus last years winner was also a Camaro (Mark Stielow's 2010 OUSCI winner). The interview to select the winner was especially cool as the creator of Gran Turismo, Yamauchi-san, sat in my car, felt the feel and placement of the steering wheel, pedals, and shifter, and through an interpreter, told everybody "This car I want to drive!!".....
...My understanding is there will be a team of SONY engineers that will model and scan the car plus get exhaust tone and engine sounds. They also do data acquisition for handling and road management stuff. It's quite cool and way beyond my scope of technogeek. They want to make it as real as possible plus get my personal input on handling and what racers should expect if theynselect and race "my" car. Hell, Craig Morrison told me he can't wait to crash it ... LOL.

Its amazing how well old cars can be made to handle with all the new suspension components made for them. That car had hardly any body role.

Early on, my old Camaro and Mary's were pretty much on par... we actually used each other's cars for data.
