MY CTS-V In-Car Video
I went to Sacramento Raceway in early November 2010 and ran the CTS-V down the track. First run is the video. Ran a 14.2 by babying the car. I made a few rookie camera mistakes and the remote didn't turn the camera on. Oh well. Here's the vid. Enjoy.

Yes I can't launch it like I want. Cadillac put a glass rear diff in the CTS-V. Unfortunately that is the weakest link. So launching it is almost impossible.
I have to look tonight. I think it was 101 mph.
The best launch I got of the day was a 2.2 60ft time. But shifting from 2nd to 3rd, the rear end began to hop up and down violently. And that's another cause of broken rear diff's. So I had to get out of it and then stab it again. I think that run was a 14.3

Another issue is the size of the axles and their relation to traction. Gforce Engineering has made an anti-wheel hop kit to combat this. They use staggered size axles. Check it out.
