My car is totalled.Need urgent assistance from locals. (PS: Thanks for the memories!)
Hello all,
It's been a long time. I've been lurking around this forum for a while now, but haven't had a need to post until now.
Someone ran a red light and smashed into my 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS, which is not in the best of condition. Both insurance agencies have declared my car "definitely totalled", so I'm forced to give it up. They're not giving me much, so I need to remove the added parts before I give the car to them to tow away.
I have removed most of car audio parts from it, but there's three parts that I need help in removing; I don't have much knowledge when it comes to cars anymore
1) Rear taillights
2) Front Cusco strut bar (I don't have the proper tools)
3) Rear Cusco Strut bar
4) (If possible) Rear Cusco Sway bar
The problem is, the car is non-functional (engine is dead) and insurance is picking it up sometime within this week or something. Would anyone with the experience of removing these parts and the proper tools be willing to come down and help remove them off my car? I live in South San Francisco, CA.
I know this is a lot to ask for, but my mom has told me that she'll a healthy + delicious dinner for anyone who helps out.
Thanks for everything guys. This has been one of the best forums I've ever been a part of.
To all of the i-Club veterans: Hiyyas guys
To Alex: I hope things are well with you and your family

Wow Sev! Long time no see. Sorry to hear about your car, long as you're fine everything will be OK. Unfortunately, I'm not able to get away from the shop, but I hope everything works out for you. When did this happen? It didn't happen to be a Prius in the City on Friday was it? I know someone that this happened to, but they were the ones at fault. Get another Subaru, maybe an STi and validate your screen name
They are safe, sounds like you got away ok, hopefully. Take care,

Hi all,
It's good to see everyone again. Luckily no one was injured (the air bags broke my fall).
I want to thank everyone for their support during this time. The truth is I'm in nursing school and am right smack in the time before finals.
Hiyyas. Thanks for your kind words; alas, there is no turbo on my car (don't I wish!)
Ohh man. STi... don't I wish.
The plan as of now is to pay of my enormous bills that have been stacking up from school and just drive my mom's '97 Honda Accord. It's a pretty decent car, but (obviously) no where near an Impreza.
BTW, I have the same dry-erase white-board organizer in my room.

after you graduate for nursing, you will make the money to afford something more than a WRX or STi.
