is that a bicycle? were you going downhill? i did not they give tickets for that.

 

My husband got pulled over in los altos hills on his bicycle by a cop on a bicycle cus he was going 52 in a 25 lol. Cop stopped him and couldnt hardly breath enough to talk but let him go with a warning and said it took him 10 min to catch up to him hehe. Just told him to slow down for his own safety.

 

wow, that is real funny. i guess the cop wanted to know if he can match the speed.

yup. bmx bike with no brakes. snapped my brake cable.


we used to go up to the sand stone rock climbing up there. Can't remember what it's called now. We'd climb til' it got dark. Then we'd throw jeans and hoodies on. Jump on our bikes and smash down with a truck or car behind a group of us. This was like 1990ish.

Used to smash diablo all the time. I know I've hit somewhere in the neighborhood of 70mph before.

Been clocked at 53mph on my bmx and my mtb.

 

wow, i used to do lots of mad downhill biking, but not like this. i used to do it on trails for downhill racing with my downhill Intense bike. i miss those days.

 

oh, you live close? how come you don't join us for the tri-valley meet? it is nice. love to see your car. i have an 07 WRX.

I raced downhill at Sea Otter a few year ago... haha Still go to Northstar every summer and ride there.

 

i JUST moved back in the area, 2/2/08 to be exact! been living the southbay for the last 5 years it feels so nice to be back in the east bay!
are there still weekly meets?

 

no i don't go to the Pleasanton weekly meet. that is mainly SRT4 and bunch of streer racing crowd, not for me at all. I go to a couple, hope to see you at one of them. I do mostly the photography in the groups. check out the pictures i took last week. i can do the same for your car.

I keep going back and forth on selling my bike but I think I'm gonna sell it. Maybe build myself a little SS street bike to jib around on.

oh wow, i used to do that as well. hurt my knee once and then double hurt it snowboarding and that was the end of my mountain biking. i still have my Intense for sale and no one is buying it. it is old technology by now.

oh well.
