You can jimmy a door w/o leaving marks. With the right tools its cake.

Also, never leave anything in your car like house keys or garagedoor openers... because your registration has your address on it There is no law that says you must keep your registration in your car at all times. But you must be able to present it when requested by an officer.

Sorry, man

Keys definitely, but garage door opener? Isn't it a little unrealistic to have to carry that huge transmitter-box-thing wherever you go? I guess if your car is parked outside, you really shouldn't need a garage door opener but I can definitely see situations where it would happen. Maybe it would be better to have a fake one on the sun visor, and keep the real one inconspicuously hidden elsewhere in the cabin...

If I were you I would do two things:

1. Until I could get around to it, pull the rip cord to disconnect my opener and then lock my garage door down somehow.

2. When I got around to it, reprogram the codes for the door and remote. I think this info should be in the manual.

Good luck, man.

Want to not have your house robbed is pretty realistic Hide it well or get a dash-integrated remote.

Of course, if its parked outside your house, they can jimmy your car, push the garage door button and are in the house w/o having to break a window or jam a door.
