Was it my California plates?
Was driving through Oregon a couple days ago heading back from a hunting trip in WA with my old man up where he lives. Driving out in the middle of nowhere on hiway 97 on cruise at about 60mph or so, I had literally no no cars in front of me or behind me within sight and this is a strait boring road. I noticed this small suv with its nose pointed at the road and figured it was parked there in the distance, as soon as I got close I realized there was a driver inside it and they decided to pull out in front of me at the last second. I slammed on the breaks in my loaded up truck to keep from rear ending them, they slowly accelerated to 45mph and held it there, I decided to pass them, really didn't want to drive that slow for any period of time, as soon as I got side by side with them, this stupid lady flips me off with a hatefull look. I was and am still thinking a serious WTF? I mean what the hell did I do? People drive me crazy, they are in the wrong and have the audacity to pull this kind of stuff...And to think that people complain about the way Californian's drive.

This happens to me frequently, the traffic where I live consistently is 5-15mph under the speed limit and they just turn out in front of you and don't speed up. It does get annoying.

Ya its quite annoying especially if your on the fast lane going around 70-75 for a commute and theres a line of maybe 3 or 4 cars going 60-65 when the middle lane and slow lane is open.

Being from Oregon for most of my life I can say they will flip you off due to the plate. I never flipped off a cali plate but first time coming back to Oregon with a cali plate they would flip me off and I never did anything but laugh. This past July and august I went back and no one did anything to me and actually were very nice to me and always asked where in cali I am from. But also later learned in convo they were all from the bay area lol. First time went back was 5 years ago and most treated me like crap but this summer was opposite

Depends on what they speedlimit is of the road. While I've never been to Oregon, I've been told by tons of people that the speed limit is STRICTLY enforced there. I've heard from one friend that military do training missions in AWACS by spotting cars, calculating their speed, and informing local police (I have no idea how true this is, just told by a friend who used to drive from Washington to the bay once a month)

They are very strict with speed for sure. And they don't have a point system or traffic school so you pay out the *** for tickets and they stay on your record for I believe minimum 5 years.
