We found her. 
Or rather, our dog found her and brought her to us. We checked the yard to make sure she wasn't there, but she must have crawled deep under the bushes. Well, this morning, let the dog out to do her business, dog barks to come back in, and there she was on our back porch.
Good dog.

I know adopting a new cat will never replace your old cat, but just remember that there are a ton of homeless cats waiting for new homes who are living on borrowed time. It wont replace your kitty, but you'll be saving a life that would otherwise be put down.
Remember, black cats are put down far more often than other color cats due to the whole superstitious aspect (people think they are bad luck, etc... Basically because people are ****ing stupid, plain and simple).
I told my wife what happened and she was soooo bummed... We were all pulling for you. Again, my deepest condolences... Pets = family.
