Saw this place on the travel channel, one guy interviewed said "I drive an hour out of my way to get coffee here."

And they average $700/day in tips each!!

 

Sounds like those lingerie coffee shops - I was hoping this was a real thread about coffee connoisseurs.

There was a place like that in down town SJ called Sugars. The city freaked out and forced them out of business with a bunch of targeted fines - you know, just like anytime anything interesting opens downtown.

BUT seriously you can go to almost any Vietnamese coffee shop and find similar (well maybe not that good)

The Cannery Row one seems tho go through periods of picking through good gene pools, and periods of not. Right now they are entering a period of goodness.
