oh man wat a great way to start the day...thanks. I especially liked the line:

If you see this car, put a sticker on it. He seems to like them, and thinks they make the car cooler.

Talking Roflmao!!

OMG!!! That was soooo funny!! I was simply rolling.. This is absolutly priceless.
For some reason or another I have a feeling it is an absolutly true story. It is so stupid no one could actually think of it up on his own.. HA!!!
MY neighbor has a Ford F1 pickup that he did up real nice into a street rod. It is a driver, and it has 500 WHP under the hood. The old man who did his engine did wonderful work. He did all the body work himself.
His son is finishing up a 66 or 67 mustang with scoops on the side, and hood. 384 under the hood, with cobra oval air cleaner, and valve covers.
His son got the old school mags for it with goodyear tires with rased white lettering.
They did the paint with the green silver flake like the Shelby in gone in sixty seconds, and real shelby stripes. For those who know about how those stripes are laid out you know how hard it is to get the curve right.
Needless to say they think my STi is cool and we have mutual respect for all things automotive, including street bikes, and Harleys.
Having said that what ticks me off if anything could after laughing so hard, is that the kids now think that they are better than everyone else. It isn't friendly compatition or anything even remotely close to that, but rather distdane for anything that doesn't look like a RICER. Needless to say I am glad "assuming this is true" that he smoked them hands down.
They need a good dose of humility now and again.
