Mud Flaps

After looking through the site and checking online, I'm still not sure which mud flaps to get. Any recommendations? Ideally I'd like sets that don't require drilling. Thanks!

Uhhhhhh...which car you got? Year/chassis?

The Rally Armor ones are decent. If you get the right ones, it uses the holes already pre drilled your car.

I might be selling my set soon for GD chassis, perhaps.

I have a 2012 STI hatch. I've been seeing a lot of the Rally Armor ones online, but was looking to see if there are other better alternatives that the forum can recommend.

Cheston - what year and color are your mud flaps for?

What do you mean "better"? The URs are pretty much as good as it gets. Only alternative I've seen anyone say good things about are Gorilla, which are pretty much the same thing.

Well, to answer your question, they're the black mudflaps with the Red Logo. But, my car is a 2006 GD chassis.

Having said that, when peeking online for the part numbers, i'm sorry to say that they are listed as different.

GD: MF1
your GR: MF15

Sorry man, looks like not a bolt on. But good luck to you deciding. I've been quite happy with them these past few years!

Really hard to go wrong with Rally Armor. Installed a set on my friends 06 wrx wagon, wasn't too bad. All you need are hand tools and a little time.

I had some ebay mudflaps on my GC years ago haha they were huge, just had to drill holes through the flaps themselves. Ricing it up a bit

Rally Armor, and done. No reason not to unless you are cheap then you could cut up some flexible cutting boards and do it yourself. LOL

Then again there are some cheap *** mother ****ers around the Subaru world who can't afford to spend $30 more on a oil change to use proper oil and keep using diesel oil.

Get the Rally Armors.

You have a GR body. (I do to)

In this situation it's less about the material and cut of the mudflap and more about the MOUNTING method. You mentioned no drilling... so it sounds like ease and secure of install is important to you.

RA provides custom brackets to mount the flaps and that makes a HUGE difference in the ease, reliability, etc. Really, 2/3 of the cost goes to the value of RA figuring out the mounting for you and providing the custom fabricated bracket (in the rear) as well as already figured out which hardware works and providing it for you (all 4 corners).

RA is most head ache free.

Agreed on ease of install. I've installed 4 sets or Rally Armor on 3 of my cars (one switched from standard to URs). Very easy install, hardware works great and lasts. No issues with them.
