Mt Hamilton road hazard advisory...

I was just up there an hour ago. They poured sand everywhere (for snow) and its SLICK as HELL. Its only in the corners, so stopping sucks, as does steering. Seriously, just stay away for a few days. I was sliding EVERYWHERE (and I just got new tires).

Damnit. Just be warned.

bastards... I was up there on my motorcycle on a day just like that, and dropped it in one of their nice and fresh all gravel, impossible to make on a sportbike corners.

Those are my 2 favorite roads, Ran the STI over both last weekend. I have been riding motorcycles on both for years. HWY 130 (mount Hamilton road) is usually a lost cause (for bikes anyway) for a few months most winters due to graveling for ice or snow. HWY 9 is full of X-mas tree hunters clogging up the road between turkey day and x-mas.

i think the problem is not sand on the road but just that you have poor driving skills :P

do u guys really drive very well?? i see a lot of posts of people driving/cornering/braking like they have mad skills?? If this is true, why don't u guys join a rally/drift/racing team...im sure if you are really good, you would be accepted to drive in races. Taht way you guys can earn a whole lot of money too, while enjoying what you do well (as many of you claim). Heck i-club sure will back up and support whoever races/rallys out there, why not make a living out of it. Just a thought...coz if i drove really well, i'd be joining every event out there, to make a name for myself. u guys should really do that.

because its expensive to get into. events aren't cheap. there are a few people here that are really good. then a lot who just think they are really good.

Its not a matter of being good or not... Its a matter of sand being on corners and not being able to stop because of it (or steer!).

I don't think you've ever seen me drive, Ryan... only few have, Aaron and Christian being a couple.
