yeah, turbo is cool, but it really helps to:
A: know the road like.....
B: be used to your rear sway bar
C: have your suspension set up properly, aka Droop, or rebound that actually hits the road.
brucelee is dang fast, and has a properly set up car for that road. i was bouncing all over the place, all 4 wheels off the ground, kinda hard to get traction when you are airborne.
haha

Going up, well, you with the turbos got the advantage...
But seriously, don't try to fly up HELLA HELLA fast, not yet, drive it like 10 times first. Aaron wasn't pushing it when you were following him. and i'm being serious.
It's a great road, but everyone needs to drive it a few times normally to get used to it.

You're right about knowing the hill, too. You can see a lot of the corners coming, but there are a lot of blind ones too. I'm sure I'll be able to push it more once I can remember where the nasty blind corners are. Basically, I just want to go up with you guys to see how fast you are. Not a challenge, not bragging, just a friendly, fun drive. No more, no less. Sound good?

Oh and about taking it easy a few times, I've driven like a total nut since I turned 15 and have managed to accrue a grand total of zero damage while pushing my car, even on some very hairy roads. (the current damage occurred when I wasn't even pushing the car, just randomly decided to jump it with a friend in the car.

I cannot drive super, super fast. I just don't know how. I can drive fairly well, but Hamilton is a no no, and if i want to live some more, i'm not going to push myself anywhere...
that, and i can't afford tickets anymore either...

Coilovers and Engine Management both need some pretty serious adjustment. When you get those sorted out there's no chance dan will be able to keep up. At least you better be embarassed if he does. hahaha j/k

PS: My car was NOT setup for hamilton that night. Every single corner I was rubbing, and not only that, I had a new sway bar I had to get used to. Aaron saw me drive, and I wasn't even pusing all the way.

The person leading will have to suck up the uncertainty ahead, whereas the person in the rear can use the person in the front as a judge. I don't care how little damage you've done to your car, we can go to ANY track, any time, and I will hand you your *** so bad, you'll need a hemroid pillow for a month. And if you want to play on Mt Hamilton, we'll play, only you wont follow me. We'll keep a 1 min distance between us, and I'll lead. I can promise you that I'll beat you by at least 3mins. (3 mins is a looong time). I suggest you think before you talk a bunch of crap newbie.

Although, i haven't seen you defend the Hamilton title in a looong time, and the qoute seems undenably like some older posts

Yeah Dan, nothing major here, no beef.
Tim, yeah man, run that road like 10 times, and then you'll really have a feel for it. but i'd put that sway down a notch

Of course you're right about following some one. Of course it's easier. I never said it was easier. Somehow people think I said "I'm faster up Hammy than Aaron because when I was following him (with 3 people in his car) he didn't dust me." I never said anything even remotely close to that.
Somehow you seem to think that I challenged your manhood by stating that Aaron should (theoretically) be able to beat you up (and I meant down too, FWIW) Hammy with his car set up correctly. The cars should handle very similarly, he will have much more power, and drivers should be pretty close. Then, I went on to jokingly say that he should be embarassed if you still beat him. Jokingly. How could you take offense to such a statement.
I never even said I thought I was fast!! I just said (and this is a verbatim) "I want to go to Hammy with you guys to see how fast you are. No more, no less."
Dan, to be honest I thought you were an alright guy when we first met. After that post I can't say I have a whole lot of respect for you either.
