Mounting template for stock spoiler
Anybody have or know where to get the mounting template to install the stock subaru spoiler on a 02-05 WRX? It's the paper that comes with the spoiler when you buy it from the dealer that you use to mark the mounting holes on the trunk lid. I bought a used spoiler off a local scoobie guy and now I need the template so I don't install it crooked.

someone once posted when i-club didnt exist and was just nabisco, that they went to carlsen and they loaned him a pattern or something. he then made full size copies at kinkos.

Actually, I had the same dilemna when I got my STi CF wing a while back. You don't really need a template; if you look at the underside of the trunk, there are four (4) "holes" (actually areas of thinner metal) where the screws are meant to be drilled and inserted. I had a buddy of mine that owns a body shop do the install for me since I have little be0tch shaky hands

I'll look but I don't think I have the template anymore. If I find it I'll PM you. But here is my post as far as the install, it's not as simple as you'd think.

Are those teathers for the spoiler? In case the bolts get ripped off it doesn't fly off the car? I didn't get those since I bought used. I also didn't get the extended electrical connection for the 3rd brake light. I wonder if I can buy those things seperate from the dealer. hrm
