Question Motorcycle helmet?

Anybody know if DOT approved motorcycle helmets are approved for track use?

Most track days require Snell 95 and up.

I don't know if that answers your question.

DOT rating is useless for the track.

Look on the INSIDE of the helmet, usually on the liner, for the Snell Foundation sticker. If it isn't there, the helmet won't work. If it IS there, then it needs to have (in about 1/2" high letters) either "SA95" or "SA2000" in the liner....or it still won't work. "M" rated helmets (i.e. "M95" or "M2000") are OK for autocross, but usually not allowed for track events.
