The most awesome thing happened to me today
Thankfully it was only 3 miles from home, free towing 
that doesnt look good...

the ****ing coilover snapped coming up the hill, I was doing about 30 around a gradual corner and bam, I here terrible rubbing from behind me, pull over and look to find my JIC snapped.
Luckily a friend of mine still has the stock wrx suspension hanging around his house pretty close, I just need some GC tophats though
Does anyone in the bay area have a set of GC tophats i can buy for cheap? I'm going to be out tomorrow and I'd really like to be driving next week

Talked to a guy at JIC just a minute ago, looks like I might be in for a free replacement - we'll see soon enough

Oh snap! (Pun intended).
Hopefully that coilover company will fully reimburse you - that is unacceptable! Glad you're ok, a strut breaking like that could have turned out disastrous. Good Luck.
