more track events...
This is a quick note to inform you that the 1st (3) Sears
Point/Infineon Raceway TrackMasters Racing events of the 2004 season
are now open for registration! The dates are February 6th/7th (Yes, a
Friday AND Saturday!!), and Tuesday, March 9th. Some features of these
events are time sensitive, so if you're interested in attending you
should review the following and then go to the website for additional
information.
Rain Out Insured
These events are 'Rain Out Insured' (except Feb 7th), which allows us
to cancel the events and only experience a minor financial loss. If we
do have to cancel due to rain, you'll get all of your registration fee
refunded - minus about $30. You can read more about 'Rain Out
Insurance' on the website or links listed below.
Event Format
These events will be our typical HPDE format - 3 run groups, 20 to 25
minute sessions, etc.(except Saturday, Feb 7th) One event feature
worth pointing out is that the Feb 6th/7th registration is 'time
sensitive' if you want to run both days. Between now and January 14th,
the Saturday event slots are only open to Intermediate and Advanced
drivers registering for both days. If you do register for both days,
the 2nd day (Saturday) will only cost you $115! That's 100 minutes of
Sears Point for just over a buck a minute! Don't snooze on this
opportunity! 'Saturday only' drivers will have an opportunity to
sign-up for any remaining slots on January 15th.

We're excited about the 2004 season, and are looking forward to putting
on some of the best track events available in Northern California!

If I can cash out my drivetrain, I will be there for one of those events, provided my car isn't still in dozens of pieces scattered around S-Squared at the moment.
