Believed to be the lovechild of Subaru's new Grecian chief of design, ex Alfa Romeo design guru Andreas Zapatinas, the front end incorporates a much more aggressive look that more closely resembles the Subaru Liberty/Legacy, particularly when you look at the headlight cluster.

The worship of such a vehicle is often accompanied by so much passion that whenever a new model is launched, the ardent fans go stir crazy.
"Not even a mother could love a face like that".

I think they are unveiling the 2006 models on Thursday at the New York Internation Autoshow!! So yeah, and if they keep the grill like THAT, I will buy the 2005 model even though the 2006 will probably be faster, so I really hope tehy don't put the grill like that, I can't wait though, I hope we get teh 2006s soon...

Eww... if you take a look at the grill, it looks like if you plan on modifying it, you may have to modifity the entire front bumper. All I have to say is "Long Live the "Bug-Eye".
No doubt by late '06 a lot of older model owners will simply reply, "I can modify my engine to be fast as your '06 STi but you're still going to own an ugly car."
Yikes!
