How do most of you folks out there afford a $24K+ car and mod it? Maybe I just suck at managing my money. =x

 

the way i manage my money is through my fiancee. if i spend anything without going through her, man my boys would be in a vise(sp?). especially now. so thats how my money is managed.

 

my gf gave up on me after I was robbed after we moved to san jose (long story, pphuck dis place!). Didnt have the home owners insurance up when we were robbed so I went on a shopping spree to replace items lost. TV, computers, DVDs, CDs, extra PC hardware, speakers, and a bunch of other ****. =(

 

that sucks that you were robbed. i cant stand people like that. they have no respect for anyone else.

 

Frustrated as hell...it seems I will not be able to pull together the funds to keep my 6 speed which is really pissing me off. I know if I just go ahead and install my Ver 7 motor on my RS tranny, chances are its not gonna last long at all....so Im gonna need to do something but money is not very plentiful right now. Sorry I havent been able to give u a call Bryan, Ive been pretty damn busy....I'll PM u my number so u can call me when u have time. I hope u can get things worked out tomorrow when u go out to Cypress for ur meeting.

thanks man and sorry to hear about your tranny issue. if it were me and i had a place to store it i would buy the motor and wait till i had enough to buy the tranny. then save till i could have it installed.

i do side gigs for some mod money besides the extra money after paying bills and spending money on the kids. my wife somtimes helps me do the balancing then when im in the green i go solo.

can you do any of the work your self? maybe pay for what you can and do what you cant pay for, or just save alil longer. were would you have to work done at?
