MMA: Fedor vs Rogers ... Who's watching??
I was actually quite disappointed by the Shields/Mayhem fight. I have a lot of respect for Shields, and a friend recieved his purple belt under him in ju-jitsu. He didn't do ANYTHING except lay there. The closest anyone came to a submission was Mayhem almost choking Shields out. Shields has openly said that he can be a striker and is very skillful in that area, but who has seen that? He wouldn't stand up with Mayhem (for obvious reasons) and he did NO damage to Mayhem except burn the clock and waste my time adn Mayhems time.

Sort of OT, but I figured you guys would know...
Last month Cro Cop fought some Japanese guy in Japan and knocked him out in like 17 seconds or something insane like that. Crocop used his famous kick to take down the Japanese fighter, it happened really quickly in the first round, fight didn't last longer then 30 seconds... Anyone know what fight I'm talking about? I caught the highlight on an Asian channel and didn't get all the info and wanted to watch the video but I can't find it anywhere!
It happened in Oct (last month) and was Cro Cop vs some Japanese guy, fight was held over seas and lasted less then 30 seconds before Cro Cop knocked the dude out cold.
Anyone know? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Wait, isnt Cro Cop still under contract with Dana white? That's a violation of said contract if he is. If youre in the UFC, you can only fight in the UFC

Man I had NO idea that mayhem was actually any good. Shields fought him smart but what a *****.
He wanted NONE of the stand up and he did pretty much NOTHING when they were on the ground. He pretty much just held dominate position the whole fight and counted on the judges. His JJ is suppose to be good but he could do anything with Mayhem. Miller got one shot at going offensive with his JJ and sunk in the choke that would have ended the fight if there was another 5 seconds in the round.
Shields tries to talk like he's a striker but he wouldn't even stand for a second and miller isn't that gnarly.
I am now on the I hate Jake Shields bandwagon. I don't understand pussies in the fight game. If you don't want to fight then maybe you should get a desk job or go teach wrestling somewhere.

As for Fedor, hes a badass and will always be. Rogers thought he actually had a chance. LOL

Rogers did get the one great Jab. Fedor's not known for having a strong chin, but it's not weak either... he does, however, have a VERY weak nose. Like me, he gets a nose bleed easily.
I'm not sure what to think about Mousasi/Soku
We don't know if Soku is just freaking awesome at Judo and Mousasi couldn't do much about it, or if Mousasi got exposed and his wrestling actually sucks.

I still don't understand why Cung Le gave up his belt and let Shields/Miller fight for it when he agreed to fight Scott Smith in December. Scared to lose the belt or something.

I was flipping through the channels and saw a few seconds of a fight on an Asian channel where Crocop knocked out some Japanese dude in like 17 seconds, I saw so little of it that it was hard to tell who and when it was...
