Several girls I knew ran in previous Miss SF & Oaktown C-Town, Rose Ball, & etc pageants, and contestants, whose parents have the most juice/$$$, usually win. This has been going on for YEARS, so needless to say, most of the aesthetically pleasing girls don't even bother to run anymore.
FWIW, the pageants w/the hottest chicks are usually Miss Nisei & Rose Bowl in SoCal.

Found the Problem
O.K. , I'm going to put everyones mind at ease...
I contacted the Ms. Chinatown committee and got the official word about what has been creating all the hubub.
It seems there was a slight type-o on the posting and what everyone saw written as MS. CONGENIALITY should have been
MS.CONGENITAL BIRTH DEFECT ...a highly regarded position reserved for contestants who didn't stray to far from first cousin breeding but are still contributing members of society , filling many active roles in their communities such as the one performed by the lovely contestant pictured . She is , I was told by the committee , the most revered Short Bus Hostess in Chinatown , assisting those less fortunate than herself in their daily travels to not only special education classes , but to all major special olympics events where she also coached the gymnastics squad known as the Texas Tounge Biters.

I swear that was the happiest day of my life! Whether you know it or not , I got that trophy for knot tying , actualy my mom had HER tubes tied after seeing me but I still got the trophycause they figured the knots were kind of my fault.
Sometimes I just think they were trying to make me feel good.I wear a bicycle helmet now.

I hate to say it but this makes me feel ashamed to be ABC, since these "women" are supposed to representative of all us ABC's. I think I'll just pack up and move to Honolulu now thank you very much
Oh and Ms. S.F., her last name's Kang... that's a Korean last name. WTF?!
Well, time to visit the OT Asian chicks thread to make myself feel better...
