did anyone see that thing on the news, MIRT. it suppose to change red lights into green lights in seconds. i heard that flickering your high beams would sometimes work. does anyone know where i can get one?
Is it that one thing that ambulances have? Someone posted something about that a few days ago. I forgot if its on Nasioc or on I-Club. I think it was like $300 though. Well if its the thing you're talking about.

Ah forget about it Ryan. Those things are messed-up. Great way to cause traffic accidents
But what's this about flickering your highbeams?

Almost all intersections are equipped with a sensor on top of the light that will detect a strobe coming towards it and it will cause the lights to change (they still go through the yellow to red cycle). They were initially used just for emergency and law enforcement vehicles. Some of the older systems (on the lights) will respond to a fast flash of a cars high beams and change the light faster. Be sure there isnt any oncoming traffic while doing your light changing disco flash as it will result in you getting pulled over.
Now they have been legalized for transit buses which operate express routes. So I may be able to order them through my company vendors without having to get creative in the reason why (I'm a bus guy), but there is no way I would use it in the city....that is asking for a ticket and possible impound. The strobe action can be classified under the CVC as an attempt at imitating a law enforcement vehicle.
Just some info....
