First off 2002 WRB WRX Sedan.
Bad accident over 9k in damage (won't total the car 5 months ago)
Replace rear pass quarter trunk bumper wheel hub etc.. all driver side rear..

So i get car back 3 weeks after estimate turns out to be a month and 3 weeks.. First took it to WC location to busy so they moved it to Pleasanton towed it.. Said they would tow it back for me to pick up.. talk to pleasanton when its done said they would drive it back i was like hell no ill pick it up.. Pick up car..

Problems:
Grease on headliner
Broken Center Console (bought me a new one i picked up from dealer and installed)
Wet sanded leading edge of rear DS grey front stripe
Wet sanded back edge of front ds grey front stripe
Rattle when at idle...Loose exaust bolt(drove back they tightened it)
Trunk leaks water when it rains and or wash car.
Light in truck is hanging by wires.
Rear Bumper doesn't line up
Rear DS door doesn't open/close right


THE BIGGY: Drive normal speed of traffic to my buddies house hit a bump.. Now my rear wheel, and rotor whooble like crazy at any speed over 20.. The alignment is fawked and i have to work at eight.. and can't rent a car since i am 19 so the whole time it was in the shop i borrowed parents car/bummed rides..



Is their a way i can get them not to take it back to MIKES or do you HAVE to let them try agian cuss this is BS. Thinking TOYWORX if i can pick.. PS. i didn't pick Mikes they came highly recommended by state farm.


I pointed out all flaws when car was getting exaust tightened and they said they would fix it.. month later no call or no return of my calls.

 

Don't deal with them any more. go to you insurance co and tell them that they did a horrible job and you are not satisfied and you want to take somewhere else.

this happened to my mom. she tried to let the first place fix the issue but they continue to suck so she dealt with insurance co. remember you are the insurance co.'s customer. they pay the body shop not you.

 

Just my two cents... but Snake Farm (as the other insurance co. apparently call them) loves the dollar and hates it's customers... that's just my experience though...

I believe by (cali) law an insurance company is obligated to pay for repairs at any body shop you choose; the reason there are "recommended" shops has to do with discounts (and/or kick backs) on the company side, and faster claims payment on the customer side.

I'm sure a quick internet search or something will either validate or refute that...
