Don't look flush enough. Not time attack look that all them hard Parkers are looking for.

You can compare Rotas to Rays as long as they were made the same way, but it's stupid to expect to pay Honda Civic prices for an NSX. Even though in this case the NSX is really just a civic with a body kit. Right?

17x9's are 21lbs and list for $596?! I must admit I don't really get it.

Most companies don't make STEEL wheels in offsets high enough for a subaru. You can custom order from places like Hart but they will likely tell you that there is not enough material strength to support the load from the huge offset you need on a 17x9 or 18x10 size wheel to fit on a subaru. I called a couple of places and there was one that was willing to make a set but they said it would be "run at your own risk" kind of deal.

Ok that I can understand, Steel wheels need the hub to be close to center (+/- 3 at the most) to retain their strength.

I agree. $596 for wheel that's 21lbs is too much. The Rota Titans in 17x9 are lighter and cheaper than that.

I agree on these that Rays has a problem with this rim - the MSRP. That is a lot for a cast wheel. 21lbs is fine if it is strong and since they claim this is a spec racing wheel, they've likely made it stronger than average. The part I don't get is, they said this wheel was designed to bring spec racing wheel prices DOWN. For that price, you might as well start looking at their forged offerings.

One guess would be they wouldn't clear bigger brakes.

There is a Rota sale for $600/set for certain models. I think wheeldude is running it...

NOT, I'm always on a budget hence my concern to the OP who hasn't addressed my questions. I don't care if some other members suck his winnie and know where to do it, I mean lives.... that doesn't guarantee I won't get scammed

MonsterGC is doing people a favor by splitting shipping costs, and no one here is gonna worry about him scamming anyone. If you are worried then go buy your rotas and be done with this thread.

Noob.

Lol if its gonna ruffle your scruffle and cause people to spread rumors or lead to unneeded **** talking, why bother?

If you feel insecure don't buy a set, not looking for a headache.

Anyway this wheel is some pretty nice qualities and super strong, I actually have had my set for 5 years no problem.

No bends still in round, has ribs on the inside to prevent any tire mishap.

Huge difference, nothing against rota but you can most definitely feel it.

Not sure if you have bought a brand new set of wheels from rays, its a new experience
