Is it me or do the tweels on the Audi look like they're flatter than a pancake. Don't see how that could grip very well.

The outside front one going into a turn would probably look about like that for a slightly underinflated pneumatic tire too, it is being driven hard enough to almost lift the inside rear off the ground.

The rear tire in that shot looks more like what you'd probably expect for the shape under typical conditions.

One of the really cool things about this is the engineers will have much tighter control over how the thing reacts to loads, I'm sure we will be driving on something akin to these in a few years, just not yet for me thanks.
