Corona is ****, but ok with a lime after you're already a little buzzed.

Dos Equis tastes like ****. WTF.

Can someone recommend a "Mexican" beer? Modelo?

 

I don't mind Corona, although I don't like putting crap like lime in my beer normally, it is good for hot summer days day drinking.

Modelo Especial has always been a fav of mine.

My cousins in Mexico all drink Tecate. I prefer Modelo Especial myself.

I also find it funny that when my Uncle comes to visit all he wants to drink is Bud. Everyone I meet in Mexico always asks me if I drink Bud.

i really like Mexican beer with Mexican food. seems like they go hand in hand. one beer + burrito for lunch = instant food coma.

 

Tecate is decent I guess if you have NOTHING else to drink. I'm more of a connoisseur myself so don't take my opinion too much to heart (I'm really not a drinker I just enjoy trying new microbrews etc from time to time.)

 

yea man coronas ain't that great. You should try Bohemia, Victoria, and Barrilito.

 

 

If you're at a taqueria and wanna order a pisto to go with some tacos. Tecate is fine.

Corona is straight **** water. I hate that stuff.

 

Modelo and Pacifico hands down. Corona is ok at best. Tecate is good. As long as its kept cold. Haven't tried Bohemia yet so I dunno. Modelo is definitely better than corona.

 

Probably because they see the funny Bud ads and hot bud girls, eh?
