It's not bad. Mirror has some good chunks out of it and my door is more worser LOL!.
I do have a weird pop on my driver side in the suspension... but I was planning on fixing some stuff in there anyways... so.. not a huge deal.
I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna file a claim or not. Need to contact my insurance company and see what's up.

No you don't lol. I had something similar happen where a chick backed into me in the parking lot and while waiting for the insurance companies to hash it out another dude rear ended me and nearly tore it off. He had a DUI and an accident on his record so he opted to make payments to me after I got an estimate, which he did.
Car was stolen, so most likely the owner won't have any legal responsibility. It will all fall on the meth head. As mentioned, the guy won't likely be able to pay since he appears to have chosen a life in the system, but he'll have more on his plate and you have something on the books when you make the insurance claim.
This. They will go after the dude and the owner of the car.

Depending on what court he goes to, if you or the insurance company files for restitution, that **** sticks with them for the most part. Sometimes it goes to settle it civilly depending on the length of probation or parole. And if he gets sentenced to prison, any money that gets put on his books the insurance company would get a piece of that. Might as well file the claim.
