Mechanic/garage recommendations in Monterey CA area
Hi,
I was directed here by a fellow member on NASIOC.
My car 02 WRX sedan
Bolt ons, OTS Cobb tuned
I just moved to Monterey Ca from Florida. I don't know anyone out here and wanted to get some recommendations on who you guys use for service/maintenance/performance/tuning?
My car is running like **** even on the 91ACN map. I just had a compression test done with good numbers so I was interested in possibly getting tuned out here and having some other work done. Any help or recommendations is really appreciated. Thanks!!!

I really appreciate the replies. It looks like I have two great options. Just really sucks they are so far away and not open on weekends. Thanks again for the help!

For tuning there are none. I'd go to mike at GST or Travis at Snail. It's a drive but it's worth it.
For maintenance if you're trying to stay close check out Rick's in santa cruz. It's just a auto shop, not a performance shop. But he's good and priced fair. He know subarus.
Or just make the drive out to one of the shops that you're gonna have tune it and have them work on it.
I think Speed Element is gonna be your closest performance shop.
