Ya I have thoughts. It will be too expensive, just like the current Mazda 6... Mazda has some pretty decent hardware out there right now. But they still have the same problem they have had all along. ***** too expensive to be competitive...

Damn that's hot. I'd love one of those. What is strange though is that the picture of the engine clearly shows a TMIC, yet there is no hood scoop or duct, so how does enough air get in there for it to do its job properly? Imagine that drive train in a mazda3. We'd finally have another AWD competitor in the Suby/Mitsu wars.

Maybe Mazda thinks a mazdaspeed3 would somewhat compete with the MSP,

although they could sell the 3 as a competitor to the WRX, and the 6 as a competitor to the STI.

The rims look terrible... same with back lights. The rest looks pretty sweet though. I'm still curious about who designed their AWD system.

To my knowledge, I don't think Mazda has ever had an AWD production car.

The Mazda 6 was made as much by Ford as by Mazda. Ford has done some AWD in the past.

The wheels on a Six look better than the stock wheels on a WRX IMO.

I wouldn't own one of these, but I think it is a great car for some people. I'm glad to see Mazda making great cars.
