Maverics surf competition at HMB???

I hear this is tommorrow....is it worth going down there for a look????? I just saw the size of the waves on the news and it looks downright frightning.

yea its pretty cool to watch... you watch from a little beach though and they are pretty far out but its worth it and free.

I'll take my binoculars....having failed miserably at learning to surf, I'm always amazed by the skills of these guys....

yea me too, my brother did the water safety partol 2 years ago with K38 water rescue but this year jeff clark didnt hier them so hes not out there but ill be watching from the cliff with my camera keep an eye out for my black legacy

yea good plan... i'd even recommend a foldable chair cuz you can watch from the cliffs too. definitely bring the binocs tho

Me and my girlfriend went. It was cool. Like 35-40 footers. I got some pics with my little digital camera, I'll try to post some up a little later on. It was a beautiful outside too.
