Married My Car
Married My Car
Some of you guys know I lost my job as an engineer. I decided to try doing something I really enjoyed in the past, teaching. Teaching pay sucks so I was going to sell the WRX and lease a Civic or buy a beater, just to help out with cash flow. I had financed the whole thing and the payments were super high.
Anyways, I decided to refinance it instead of selling it. I like the handling so much, and the quality too (no rattles still), that I am going to drive this car until it dies. Actually I hope it never dies. I have a friend who bought a 1953 Healey 3000 in 1962. He is still driving it. It now has a 327 Chevy, disc brakes, modern suspension, etc. It's faster than a Cobra. That's the model for the Subie. Instead of modding it right away I am going to replace stuff as it wears out. Imprezas for life.

I won't be able to truly consumate it until I upgrade to 3" exhaust. I'm just too girthy.
