I figure that should be an easy fix, though. I'm more concerned with engine realiability of those models. I haven't had an experience with 'em.

 

The EJ22's last forever, considered the most reliable subaru motor actually. The EJ18's are fine, but you have to beat on them so much to get the car moving they probably wear out faster
