Any recommendations to a muffler shop that does mandrel bending?

 

most muffler shops do not have mandrel bending machines. The machine is very costly so most of these shops won't have them. Its just not cost effective.
If you absolutely want a custom mandrel bend exhaust system, you can just buy mandrel bend elbow pipes and have muffler shop do a setup you wish.

yah they do both mandrel and crush bends... they got piping, but i don't see why u can't bring ur own hardware if u chose to

 

make sure u talk to joe though, he's a younger dood maybe early 20's (around my age) he's pretty cool

 

The Golden Muffler downtown ihas some nasty guys working there... customer service is crap. You'd have a friendlier experience at the one in DC

Most shops have racks of mandrel bends that they buy from someone who has the bling bling priced mandrel bending maching. Just tell them what you want, or show them which pipe you want to replace and they can replicate it with mandrel pieces and straight pieces.

If you can make it to the South Bay, Alan Blaine of Blaine Fabrication does amazing work and has a mandrel bender. He does everything from one off cf or fiber panels to custom race exhausts and cages. Beautiful work and a nice guy.
