no one notices it because the media picks what they report.

 

yep, two friends of somebody i know where beaten, robbed, and held at gunpoint in Peru. they are americans too. this happened just over a week ago.
they've been trying to spread the story. they were about to attend the dakar rally with a friend i know, until this happened.
No news outlet in Peru or the USA is covering this.

as my friend said: "They got the living **** kicked out of them. My friend has a fractured skull, missing 4 teeth. They have 100+ stiches from various headhounds."

Come on Sione, that's the second pro-gun person found dead. Pro-gun. Media wont touch it because of ratings. They only want to denounce guns/ammo/owners, not show them as being humans......

 

This. People, including my wife, are led to believe it is so dangerous to let your kids out of the house these days. You think there weren't perverts and killers all over the place 20 years ago? Yeah right.

That doesn't mean I don't have a shotgun ready to go, in my bedroom, however.

 

Its sad but true, we need a honest media out there.

 

This is terrible, hopefully your friends recover well. However, who cares that they are Americans? This happens all the time all over the world to people from all nationalities/ethnicities/races.

 

That sounds like a similar situation that happened to my friends on their honeymoon in Equador. They were in a cab on the way to Quito when a truck full of heavily armed dudes pulled up along side them and ordered the driver to pull over. They pistol-whipped the driver, bound and gagged him and then put a hood over his head. They then drove the cab down a side road and bound/gagged my buddy and his wife while stealing all of their luggage and his surfboard bag. Before leaving, they popped all four tires on the cab and then left everyone tied up. ****'s crazy.
