How about you open your eyes and see if there are cops around before driving like a jackass...and take your ticket like a man.

I did check for cops before I turned but he came out of no where. After I drive like a jackass I do another check. And believe me I have full intention of taking this ticket for what it is. I just wanted to know how much money it was going to cost me, not what I can do about it.

EH!!! wrong! it's an emission ticket, that means either a heafty fine or a slightly lower fine but a trip to state ref.

emission tickets have NEVER been a fix it ticket, it's just they didn't start considering modified intake as a smog violation till a few years ago.

EH!!! wrong!... and right at the same time. . It is an emission ticket, however, the fine isn't too hefty. My fine was somewhere in the area of $40. But I had to get it signed off at a smog station... which was about $30. So, all in all, it was around $70. But yeah... good luck.

Just make sure you put the stock one back on, and ask for your fine to be reduced (to the judge), and there is a 98% chance that the judge will reduce it.

if no cars were around, I think it's fightable (sir, all wheel drive, wet surface, lost control, don't know....)
the emissions thing is stoopid. Is this an exhaust issue? If you have a cat, there is no higher emissions. We have fought this and won. Do a search.
Fight it both and let us know how things go.
Good luck.
